Property Highlights

The Property consists of approximately 0.96 acres of land in downtown Green Bay west of the Fox River. The Property is currently occupied by Ultra Plating Corporation, a full service industrial plating and metal finishing company. The Property largely consists of Ultra Plating's factory, a connected office building, and adjacent gravel driveways. Surrounding properties consist of industrial facilities to the north and west and vacant former industrial parcels to the south and east. Central Wisconsin Limited's railroad and associated right-of-way lies adjacent to the western Property boundary. The site may one day be included into "The Shipyard" redevelopment project, which is proposed on adjacent parcels. The Shipyard project would include public waterfront access, a multi-use events center, retail, and corporate offices.

Former Use: From at least 1883 to 1907, the Property was primarily vacant and utilized by a small lime kiln or used for lumber and coal storage at various times. By 1936 the Bay West Paper Company shared the Property with a welding and boiler works operation. The Bay West Company operated at the site until at least 1950. By 1955, Ultra Plating Corp purchased the Property for use as a metals plating operation. The Property is currently owned and operated by Ultra Plating.
