Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Historical aerial photographs and topographic maps indicate that the subject property was developed with a residence on the southeast portion with the remainder consisting of a tree orchard from at least 1938 to at least 1966. Historical aerial photographs, topographic maps, city directories, property records, and ADEM records indicate that the property was occupied by Southern Aluminum from 1973 to 2002 and Citation Aluminum from 2003 to 2006. Historical city directories indicate that the occupants of the north portion of the subject property included: Sanford Building Components in 1976, Southern Kitchens, Inc. in 1985, Stuckey Moulding from at least 1985 to at least 1990, and Stuckey Flooring Company in 1990. The property and its associated structures have been vacant since 2006. The mechanical equipment that was previously in the onsite structures was auctioned off in and removed beginning in 2007.
