Additional Property Attributes

Neighborhood Development Corporation (NDC) acquired the site in August of 2017. NDC seeks to demolish the closed medical clinic building on the property, which was built in 1985. NDC seeks to redevelop the site to complement the residential characters of the Sherman Hill National Historic District, where this property is located. Redevelopment plans have not been finalized, as NDC seeks to work with all stakeholders to ensure a quality redevelopment for the site.

Former Use: The property was historically developed as a high-end residential neighborhood in the 1870s. With urban decline by the 1970s, houses on the site were demolished and a single-story medical clinic was constructed there in 1985; the clinic moved by 2002, and the building sat mostly vacant for years. NDC's mission is to redevelop challenging properties, and with 128(a) assistance, NDC seeks to address asbestos issues in the building, to then prepare the building for demo and site redevelopment.
