Additional Property Attributes

The site is located on the southeast corner of Kaighn Ave and South 7th Street. The property is currently vacant. It previously contained five (5) industrial buildings, constructed between 1954 and 1962, that were demolished in April 2017. CWS Industries was a prior operator of the site. Former Use: The property formerly included CWS Industries, an electroplating facility, National Electric Supply Company, an electrical supply warehouse, and the Avellino Corporation, a linoleum manufacturer. The property was most recently owned by United Development, LLC, until November 2017, at which time the City of Camden legally foreclosed on the property through an ln Rem foreclosure. It should be noted that the ln Rem Foreclosure listed the properties as Block 405, Lots 1, 7,8 and 11. However, per the Camden City Tax Office, the lots were consolidated in 1999. ln April 2017, the City of Camden demolished all the existing site buildings. The City of Camden wishes to redevelop the property for industrial or other non residential use.
