Additional Property Attributes

The property was originally constructed and operated as a mill until 1912. Then, the property operated as automotive manufacturing for approximately 50 years. Hills Seamrog, LLC is the current owner of the property and intends to redevelop the property into an irish-themed restaurant and other commercial developments known as Old Irish Mill.

Former Use: Originally developed and operated as a mill until 1912 until a fire destroyed the existing mill and a smaller mill was constructed. Ford Motor Company purchased the property in 1921 and conducted automotive manufacturing operations largely until 1954. At that time smaller manufacturing operation of lamp lenses still occurred on the property. in 1967, the Brooklyn Ford Plant halted production at the subject property. A subsidiary of Jackson Gear Company purchased the property and operated from 1969-1988. Yesterday Power purchased the property in 1990. Different developers have anticipated redeveloping the site but redevelopment plans did not come to fruition. Hills Seamrog LLC is the current owner of the property with plans to redevelop the site into an Irish themed commercial development.
