Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: ? The property was used by Dalton Hardwood, Inc. from the 1950s until approximately the 1990s when the company ceased operation on this parcel. Operations moved to the adjacent Windsor parcel to the east by other members of the family operating the business. The property is vacant with one building remaining and some building remnants located along the western-side of the access road. The intact building appears to have been used as a maintenance and repair garage. Building foundation remains are located along the eastern side of the access road. Remains of tanks, rusted metal piles, are visible in the center of the property. It is believed by some residents that Dalton Hardwood may have accepted tanks for scrap. Google maps with imagery dated 2014 and MassGIS show several tanks on-site.
