Additional Property Attributes

An ASTM/Ohio VAP Phase 1 was performed and did not identify any RECs/IAs; initial concern was a potential petroleum pipeline ran through the property at one time during ownership by Sun Oil Company (1950-1973); records did not indicate the pipeline was ever developed The city received Great Lakes Restoration Initiative funding to construct a storm water collection, filtration and nutrient reduction site to benefit Otter Creek and the Maumee River direct tributaries to Lake Erie

Former Use: The Site is irregularly-shaped and comprised of approximately six acres of undeveloped land located west of Sylvandale Avenue, north and east of Earlwood Avenue, and southeast of the intersection of Belden Avenue and Shadowbrook Drive in Oregon, Ohio. Both Sylvandale and Earlwood Avenues provide access to and from portions of the Site. According to our review of topographic maps, aerial photographs, and Sanborn Fire Insurance Rate Maps (Sanborn Maps), the Site has been undeveloped since at least 1913.Sun Oil Company owned the Site from 1950 to 1973; however, based on a review of historical aerial photographs and Sanborn Fire Insurance Rate Maps, Sun Oil Company never developed the parcel during their time of ownership.
