Additional Property Attributes

An ASTM/Ohio VAP Phase 1 was performed on behalf of Belpre Twp Trustees who will purchase the former rail line from CSX as part of a rails-to-trails project. RECs/IAs include 1 Former Rail line operations and 2 potential UST associated with former rail depot Property will be used for recreational trail following completion of Phase 2 investigation and construction of pathway

Former Use: Property was first developed for industrial use by 1870 related to rail and river transportation; operated as a short line RR until 1985; ties and rails were removed in 1992; a rail depot was located along the line but was removed in the 1950's; CSX is the current property owner; Baltimore Shortline RY acquired from private owners is 1871 and 1872
