Additional Property Attributes

This property encompasses a portion of the flour mill that once covered the entire area between Third Street, Fourth Street, Ash Street, and the Bitterroot Spur. This property appears to have been used as a grain mill from approximately 1902 to 1990. It has subsequently been used as warehouse or light industrial space. The site owner, Opportunity Resources Inc (ORI), currently operates a wood products facility at the site. Investigation identified minor lead-contamination in surface soils (50 cubic yards) and asbestos containing building materials (1,000 square feet). ORI intends to clear the site for construction of 24-units of new affordable housing and street-facing commercial space.
