Former Use: The Site is a 0.92-acre, vacant, commercially-zoned property. / Previous owners of the Site, as identified during a review of documents available from the Ulster County Assessor's Image Mate Online Database, include SN management of New York, Inc., from which the City of Kingston acquired the Site in June 2010; Xiao Huang, from whom SN Management acquired the Site in April 2005; and Huang Fan, from whom Xiao Huang acquired the Site in July 2000. Based on information gathered from the review of historical data sources the first identified development of the Site was in 1887, for several residential properties. By 1950 the Site was developed with several produce warehouses and storage buildings for A.H. Guildersleeve & Son along with several single-family residential buildings and an apartment building. By 1972 these building had been removed and the Site was developed with the Imperial Motel. The Imperial Motel was removed sometime between 2011 and 2013. Aerial photographs from 2013 show an approximately 2,000-square foot structure of unknown use.
