Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property is generally vacant with a single warehouse remaining on the northern portion of the site. The earliest available record for the subject property dates back to the 1907 Sanborn Map that included the northwestern portion of the subject property, does not illustrate any structures on the site. The International Paper Kraft Division Mill (IP) was constructed in 1921 on the subject property. The subject property was identified as The Bastrop Pulp and Paper Co in 1925, Southern International Paper Co Bastrop Mill in 1927, and Southern Kraft Division of International Paper Co in 1950, 1958, 1962, and 1967. Records indicate that the Bastrop Mill decreased production in 1981 before closing in 1982. Portions of the Bastrop Mill were deconstructed in 1983 and the subject property appears generally vacant with the exception of the paper storage warehouse and fiber reclamation system since at least 1994. Toda One, LLC purchased the property from IP in 2017.
