Additional Property Attributes

74 Franklin St and 19 Proctor St were completed jointly under the same Phase I ESA. Each property has been entered into the ACRES database separately. Total EPA funds expended was split in half, with 74 Franklin St showing half and 19 Proctor St showing remainder. Refer to ACRES ID 200561.

Former Use: Site has historically been owned by the Rendell family. It is currently being used as a paved parking area and has been used as such for many years. The Phase I has demonstrated no concern with pollutants/contamination. 74 Franklin St and 19 Proctor St were completed jointly under the same Phase I ESA. Each property has been entered into the ACRES database separately. Total EPA funds expended was split in half, with 74 Franklin St showing half and 19 Proctor St showing remainder. Refer to ACRES ID 200561. Though a specific reuse plan for the site has not been developed, a potential purchaser is interested in the site for redevelopment for residential and/or mixed use purposes. The site is located within the Framingham Downtown Central Business District, which has been prioritized for redevelopment to spur economic growth in the downtown neighborhood. Further, the site is part of an assemblage of properties identified by the City as target candidates for implementation of transit-oriented development principles.
