Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Subject Property is located at 2316-2350 North 11th Street in the Hartranft neighborhood of the North Philadelphia section of Philadelphia, PA and is currently a community garden and recreational space. According to city property records, the Subject Property is zoned for medium industrial use (I-2). The Subject Property comprises 85,645 square feet and is identified as Philadelphia OPA Account No. 885346725. The site was developed prior to 1895, and historical uses included an electric company, a storage facility, a telephone supply distributor, an ice company, a metal products manufacturing facility, and a paper box manufacturing company. In 1998, following the foreclosure and sale of the land to the City of Philadelphia, the on-site buildings were demolished. According to on-site interviews, the Subject Property was used for illegal dumping after the buildings were demolished. In 2010, the Subject Property was redeveloped as a community garden.
