Phase I ESA followed by ACBM and lead-based paint surveys. The City of Rochelle took ownership of the property on March 1. A Request for Proposal/Purchase was issued and due March 18 for redevelopment..

Former Use: The Property consists of a rectangular-shaped parcel of land encompassing 0.1-acres. The Property is developed with a 2,500 square foot, single-story commercial building used most recently as an educational training facility. The building is in disrepair and is used for miscellaneous storage throughout. Historical use includes office and staging space for small businesses. Past ownership includes Allied Gas Company, Maxon's Paint Store, Walker Carpet Cleaning and Installation / Decorating Center.
