Additional Property Attributes

The church has redevelopment plans of leasing the property into the headquarters for Recycle Bikes for Kids, a local non-profit that refurbishes donated bikes for children. FUMC completed a limited asbestos survey prior to taking ownership in 2014. The property has not been redeveloped as of February 2019.

Former Use: The property located at 301 West 7th Street and was occupied by the Center Street Service Center. The property is comprised of two(2) structures consisting of an automobile maintenance structure and an overhead metal canopy. The automobile maintenance structure is constructed over a concrete slab with a built up asphalt roof. The exterior of the building is constructed of brick masonry. The interior is finished with 12� X 12� floor tiles, plywood walls and ceilings, and sheetrock wallboard. The automobile maintenance structure is a single story building and consistsof a garage/shop, an office, a men�s bathroom, and a women�s bathroom. The overhead canopy is constructed of metal; therefore, no asbestos containing materials were identified. The former Night Club property was located at 307 West 7th Street. The building is constructed over raised concrete footings with a flat asphalt roof and a brick masonry exterior. The interior of the building was finished with 12� X 12� floor tile, concrete floors, linoleum, wall plaster, and sheetrock walls. The former Night Club is a single story structure and consists of a kitchen, a basement, three (3) bar/entertainment areas, a DJ booth, and dressing room.
