Additional Property Attributes

At the time of the reconnaissance, the Property consisted of approximately 0.1 acres of land developed with two adjoining, approximately 1,750 square-foot, two-story, commercial buildings. The remainder of the Property was developed with grassy areas. The surrounding areas consisted of commercial developments with residential developments located beyond to the north, south, and west. The Property was developed with two commercial buildings and associated outbuildings by 1886. The Western building was listed as a restaurant, while the Eastern building was listed as meat market. By 1898, the Western building and the second floor of the Eastern building were listed as a hotel, while the first floor of the Eastern building remained a meat market. The Western building was listed as a jewelry and tailor shop, and the Eastern building was listed as a grocery store and meat market by 1913. From 1928 to 2016, the Property consisted of two adjoining commercial buildings with associated outbuildings. By 1886, the surrounding area consisted primarily of commercial developments, with residential developments located beyond to the west and south.

Former Use: The Property was developed with two commercial buildings and associated outbuildings by 1886. The Western building was listed as a restaurant, while the Eastern building was listed as meat market. From 1928 to 2016, the Property consisted of two adjoining commercial buildings with associated outbuildings. The water well depicted in the northeast corner of the Eastern building from 1898 to 1907 is not a REC; however, if it is encountered, it should be closed properly.
