Additional Property Attributes

This entry is for Gibson Cove Parcel #3. At the time of the Site visit, the parcel was being used by the City of Kodiak as a storage yard for materials such as lumber, metal, concrete and asphalt debris. The Property is situated on a hook-shaped peninsula that is bordered by Gibson Cove to the northeast and St. Paul Harbor to the east and south.

Former Use: Two soil piles were observed on this parcel. These appear to have been covered, but the cover has been weathered and degraded. Numerous other piles of asphalt and soil/gravel asphalt were also observed in the City of Kodiak storage yard. An old fuel filter with attached piping was observed in one of the soil piles. Given the presence of the fuel oil filter, these soil piles are considered a REC.
