Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property was developed with two residences on the north and west portions from at least 1898 until 1973 when the building on the west portion was removed. The building on the north portion of the Subject Property was identified as a bank from 1975 until 2016. The building was a sporting goods store by 2018. At the time of the reconnaissance, the north portion of the Subject Property was developed with a two-story commercial building that was vacant. A canopy for a drive thru service lane extended off the east side of the building. The east, south and west portions of the Subject Property were paved asphalt drives and parking areas.


The surrounding area was comprised of residences and commercial developments from 1898 until at least 2020. A gasoline tank was present on the south-adjoining site from 1910 until 1929. Two gasoline filling stations were present on the west-adjoining site and on the southwest corner of East Main Street and State Road from at least 1929 through 1998. A previous Phase I ESA identified a dry cleaner located on the northeast-adjoining site from at least 1969 through 1978. At the time of the reconnaissance the surrounding area consisted of commercial businesses that included a grocery store, hair salon, pharmacy, insurance agency, pet store, massage and gift store, quilting supply store, restaurants, bar, and health care.
