Additional Property Attributes

The Site is irregularly shaped consisting of two (2) parcels containing approximately 9.65 acres of land. The northern parcel of Site was improved with a former auto racetrack. The southern parcel was improved with a 3,200 square foot office/storage building on the southwestern portion of the Site. The Site is relatively flat with the local topographic surface sloping slightly to the south and west. A local business is acquiring the property now that the Phase I and II ESAs have been completed in order to expand their operations. The Phase II ESA completed in June 2019 determined no USTs or petroleum contamination were present at the Site. Former Use: According to the Phase I ESA Report, the northern portion of the Site was used as an auto racetrack (Armscape Raceway) in the 1950s. Parking for the racetrack was located on the southern portion of the Site. The storage portion of the building was constructed in 1970 with the office portion of the building added on in the late 1970s. Silvey Oil occupied the Site building and used the building to store distributed packaged petroleum products. The building has also been used as a bar, crop insurance company, steel company, and a builder.
