Additional Property Attributes

During the Phase II assessment, there was asbestos identified in floor tiling, mastic, and certain roofing materials. Additionally, 20 rooms were randomly sampled for meth. Of the 20 rooms sampled, two rooms tested positive for meth concentrations above the MDEQ clearance standard. The remaining 40 units were not sampled as decided by the site owner. The current property owner is looking to sell the property to a developer, Affiliated Developers, Inc. Affiliated Developers was awarded over $3.8 million dollars in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits to conduct renovations of the facility, create a common room for residents, build a new playground for residents, and potentially establish a satellite site for the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi Line. Former Use: Oakwood Village Apartments is a low-income housing complex located in Havre, MT. There are three separate, multi-level apartment buildings on the 2-acre property. The buildings have three floors each, including a basement and two other levels. There are 60 residential units all together. According to the Montana Cadastral, the buildings were constructed in 1979 and were originally constructed as residential units.
