Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Subject Site is located east of downtown Albany, Georgia and along the Flint River. The Subject Site occupies the current Environmental Park public area and is comprised of two, non-contiguous parcels of land. According to the Dougherty County Tax Assessor database, the Subject Property is generally located at �Liberty Expressway� and is predominantly wooded, undeveloped land. The Subject Property is bordered to the north by vacant, wooded land and the Liberty Expressway/GA-Hwy 19, to the east by the Flint River, and to the south and west by vacant, wooded land, and a construction materials supply company. A railroad intersects the Subject Site traversing east to west between the two parcels. The Subject Property is comprised of two non-contiguous parcels, each owned and maintained by Dougherty County Facilities Management. The Dougherty County parcel identification numbers and respective acreage are listed below. The southern parcel (00KK/00001/008) was sold by Margaret Evelyn Gary Bynum to Dougherty County in December 1992.
