Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Based on a historical records review, the subject property was vacant land from as early as 1894. the subject property has remained vacant with no structures or features other than the concrete drainage ditch since the City of Los Angeles ownership. Historical records review indicates the concrete drainage ditch was added in the late 1990s or early 2000s. The earliest historical resources reviewed are topographic maps dated 1894 through 1902, which show the subject property void of structures and located between two intermittent streams to the east and west. The 1928 aerial photograph shows the subject property as a portion of a dry creek bed or wash, or vacant vegetated land surrounded by agricultural cropland and orchards. The subject property and the surrounding area remain relatively unchanged until the 1964 aerial photograph. The subject property appears to be a vacant vegetated parcel with the western portion remaining a dry creek bed or wash and the adjoining and surrounding properties are primarily residential. No significant changes are noted except for a concrete drainage ditch along the western property boundary in the 2002 aerial photograph. Aerial photographs reviewed through 2018 depict no significant changes to the subject property. No structures were depicted on topographic maps or aerial photographs reviewed.
