Property Highlights

The largely blighted site was built over a 20-year period beginning in 1962. In its 57 years it has included multiple commercial, service and retail operations, with multiple drycleaners functioning onsite. The site had two buildings, at one point, one of approximately 125,000 square feet and the other of approximately 16,000 square feet. A fire destroyed a significant part of the larger building in 2014 including the area where the drycleaners had been located. Beginning in tax year 2014, the former owner did not pay any property taxes resulting in Crawford County acquiring the site through tax delinquency in June 2019.
