Additional Property Attributes

No evidence of RECs was identified in connection with the Site or adjoining properties. This property will be combined with the adjacent properties and be developed into a park for the neighboring Choice Neighborhood project. Former Use: The Site is currently vacant. Based on aerial photographs, structures were present on the from the 1950s until the 1980s. The Site is owned by Happy Tails Properties II, LLC. HUI Investors previously owned the Site for 25 years, and Benvenuti Development owned the Site for an unknown amount of time prior to HUI.

River District Park is a 0.45-acre pocket park located at 1039 North D Street, Planning Area 1, Council District 3. Construction started in January 2022 and set to be completed in May 2022. The improvements will include the following: erosion control grading, drainage, off-street improvements, irrigation, landscaping, concrete curbs, mow strips, walkways and concrete pads, asphalt paving, a basketball and futsal court, benches, picnic tables, drinking fountain and park signage.
