Additional Property Attributes

Per Phase I ESA, no RECs, HRECs, or CRECs were identified. However, Business Environmental Risks were. Historical uses of the property included the Norfolk & Ocean View railroad, an automotive repair facility, waste paper storage facility, junkyard, and lumberyard. Additionally, two adjacent off-site facilities were identified on the UST/LUST database. The potential for subsurface contamination exists.

Former Use: The subject Site is comprised of one parcel encompassing 4.55 acres of vacant, grass-covered land. According to historical records, the subject Site was formerly developed, occupied by residences and later commercial entities. Past uses of environmental concern include the Norfolk & Ocean View railroad, automotive facility, waste paper facility, lumberyard, and junk yard. By 1970, the subject Site included the Holiday Inn Motel which continued operations until sometime in 2002. By 2003, the subject Site was vacant and has remained as such since.
