Impacts listed in the contaminant section were detected during sampling events conducted in 1994, 1997, and 1998.

Former Use: Coal gasification plant operated on-site 1880s-1968. Plant dismantled in 1968. City owned half of property and purchased remainder in 1970. Majority of site paved in 1995. Hampton Roads Transit Center formerly on-site. Utilities pump station currently on-site. Remainder of site vacant and currently used for parking.
