Additional Property Attributes

Planned mixed use development. Former Use: The northern portion of the site (11335-41 San Pablo Avenue, and 6111 Potrero Avenue) consists of two vacant parcels (one along the northern site boundary and one on the southwestern portion of the site) that were initially developed in the early 1900s with residential dwellings on both the northern and southwestern parcels. The dwelling on the southwestern parcel was reportedly demolished in the 1940s and the parcel was subsequently used as a small parking area. The dwelling on the northern parcel was demolished in the mid-2000s. The southeastern portion of the site (6115-6119 Potrero Avenue) was developed sometime prior to 1949 (based on review of Sanborn Maps) with an approximate 3,000 square-foot commercial building. According to City Directory listings as well as interviews with the site owner, the building was formerly used as a bar (6115 and 6117) with a hair salon (6119). The owner is currently using the building for storage.
