Additional Property Attributes

Planned future use not yet determined. Could be mixed-use. Former Use: Historical research revealed that the site was developed in the early 1900s with five residential houses and several vacant lots. In the early 1940's the site was redeveloped with 50 residential duplex buildings, a community center, a storage building, and parking lots commonly referred to as Nystrom Village. The former residential buildings were demolished prior to the construction of Nystrom Village. At the time of the reconnaissance, the approximate 9.02-acre site was developed with four residential housing complexes each with 12 to 13 residential buildings and a parking lot. The 50 residential buildings were constructed as duplexes, with each building having two residences. Based on the findings of the ESA/AAI, the following recommendations are provided: ? Conduct a hazardous building materials survey (e.g. asbestos and lead paint sampling) of the on-site buildings, ? Collect soil samples from the perimeter of the buildings for laboratory analysis of lead (lead-based paint). ? Conduct a mold assessment based on the results of the 2018 PNA.
