Additional Property Attributes

Currently vacant with no structures. Property floods due to proximity to Dan River. Wetlands shown on-site on National Wetlands Inventory Map. Accumulated tires and discarded oil filters documented on-site in 2005. In addition to potential impacts from historic operation of auto tire/repair shop and filling station on-site, additional impacts related to adjacent and vicinity auto repair shops, filling stations, and historic rail line (since mid-1800s) are possible.

Former Use: First developed use not confirmed. Used as auto tire & repair shop 1963-2012. Filling station referenced on property in 1952 deed. of filling station unknown. Building vacant since 2012 and demolished in 2016.
