Additional Property Attributes

Former 390,000-sf building has been razed. Foundation still present. Former wastewater treatment facilities remain on-site. Hazardous substances (incl. PCBs and petroleum products) were used during operation as weaving facility (1940s-2003) and may have resulted in soil and groundwater impacts. Four USTs and 21 ASTs were once in use at the site. Two former gasoline USTs were removed; impacted soil was excavated, remediated on-site, and disposed of in northern portion of site along with drums and other materials. No other tanks located, and tank removal and/or closure was not documented. Potential impacts related former WWTP areas and adjacent rail line may be present. Potential historically significant cemetery adjacent to site, and Civil War Era development in the area. Former Use: Site consists of two large irregularly shaped parcels, 15 contiguous rectangular parcels, and two rectangular satellite parcels to west accessed by Gathas Trail Rd.
