Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property is covered by mature trees and underbrush throughout and does not have any current structures. The earliest available historical record of the subject property dates back to the 1935 topographic map that illustrated the site as a partially cleared, vacant area on the west side of the city of Bastrop Louisiana with one residence along the southern boundary. A second residence is visible near the southwestern corner of the site in the 1969 aerial photograph. Both residences are no longer visible in the 1985 aerial photograph. Mr. Hawkins stated in his interview that the subject property has been undeveloped with the exception of the two residences that were removed in the 1980s. The Dotson family have owned the property since at least 1969. The Phase I ESA has revealed no evidence of RECs in connection with the property.
