Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property was historically a part of the Crompton and Knowles Loomworks industrial complex. It has not had any other uses. The City acquired the property through tax title foreclosure, previously used other sources of funds to demolish the building and is now marketing the site for redevelopment. The City also removed an underground storage tank and it's suspected that the tank might have leaked petroleum based products into the soil.
