Former Use: The Memorial Apartments were originally constructed in 1935 and consist of an approximately 17,300-square foot, single story, apartment complex with 35 units. They were first used as motel rooms under the name Bell Motel and later used as a rest home for senior citizens. The current owners, Buck and Jeri Lynn Rea, purchased the property in 2000 and used it as a Section 8 rental property for qualified low-income tenants. The City of Helena deemed the property uninhabitable in 2016 due to the age and condition of the sprinkler fire suppression system and the Site has been vacant ever since.
