Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: According to historical sources the Property appears to have existed as a vacant undeveloped land from 1904 to approximately 1907. From 1907 to 1914, two (2) residential structures, a portion of a corral, and several smaller structures are depicted on the Property. A restaurant structure is occupied the eastern portion of the Property in 1914. By 1923, the restaurant structure has been replaced with several structures that are part of a motel on the southeastern portion of the Property. Additionally, a small portion of the northern section of the Property contains a warehouse building. A movie theater, Williams Hotel, a laundry building, a residential structure, and several smaller structures were all on the Property in 1943. By 1952, the Williams Hotel has been demolished and the Sun Caf�s depicted on the southeastern corner of the Property. According to local interviews further discussed in section 6.3, the laundry building contained a laundromat before being used as a pizza restaurant in the 1960�s. The movie-house building located on the northeastern portion of the Property along with the sun caf�ere purchased by the Snyder family in the 1970�s. The Snyder family demolished the movie-house building and the Sun Caf�o build the Windmill restaurant on the northeastern portion of the Property in 1981. The Windmill restaurant is now the current vacant warehouse building located at the Property.
