Additional Property Attributes

Hotel parcel reportedly once had a 10,000-gallon heating oil UST and two 250-gallon heating oil ASTs on-site. UST had a petroleum release in 2005 that was later closed. Former filling station on parking lot property. Phase II activities sampled soil and groundwater on-site in several disturbed areas noted in geophysical survey. Metals including As, Co, Fe, Pb, V and VOCs, SVOCs, and PAHs were detected in soil above residential RSLs. As, Pb, and several SVOCs/PAHs were detected in soil above the industrial RSL. No constituents were detected in groundwater at levels above MCLs or tap water RSLs. Recommend to take soil impacts into account in redevelopment of the property. Former Use: 0.44-acre property containing 4-story brick hotel constructed in 1929 and associated asphalt parking lot. Area was residential in late 1800s/early 1900s. Hotel operation began on-site in 1903. Hotel has been vacant for approximately 10 years. Filling station operated on parking lot parcel beginning in the 1960s.
