Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Rex File Company established themselves on this property in 1906, in 1928 Heller Brothers bought the plant. Simond's Industries purchased the company in 1955, and the site started showing up on EPAs radar in the late 1980s. Simond's Industries closed in 2006, and it was purchased by Thomas Woosnam (641 Heller Dr. LLC). Woosnam did not use the property and did not pay taxes.

2022 Update: Phase II found arsenic, chromium and selenium above in soils in addition to TPH and VOCs.
Supplemental Phase II consisted of 16 additional soil borings and 10 sub-slab vapor samples. Soils above for PCBs, TPH and metals. SSV samples below ALs and eval showed no risk for VOCs.
