Additional Property Attributes

At the time of the reconnaissance, the Property consisted of approximately 0.5 acres of land developed as a vacant, grassy lot. The Ohio River covered the southern two thirds of the Property. The area north of the Property consisted of commercial and residential developments, the areas east and west were primarily residential, and the Ohio River occupied the area to the south. The Property was serviced by Duke Energy for electrical service. Water, natural gas, or sewer services were not available at the time of the site reconnaissance. Stormwater in the area infiltrated into the ground surface or flowed overland to the southern-adjoining Ohio River.

Former Use: The Property was agricultural or undeveloped land from at least 1939 to 1965, when it was developed as residential land. The southern portion of the Property was covered by the Ohio River by 1939. Surrounding areas consisted primarily of residential land. By 1965, earthwork began to the northwest of the Property. Commercial developments approximately mile to 1 mile north of the Property began to appear circa 1978.
