Additional Property Attributes

The City of Portage Business Development & Planning Department reported that the subject property previously housed Schulz Bros. Drug and Variety Store from the 1950s to approximately 1971; Gambles Department Store from 1974 to approximately 1980; Wilz Drug Store from 1981 to 1988; Antique Mall from 1990 to approximately 2005. According to the City of Portage Business Development & Planning Department, the subject property building has been vacant for a number of years and the current owner abandoned the property in 2018. The historical use of the subject property as a furniture refinishing business is a concern.
