Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of approximately 180 acres of land and 33 buildings. Currently, there are multiple uses of the buildings including an event center, commercial leased space (for offices and exercise classes), wine production, and government offices and training facilities for the Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC). The majority of the buildings were built between 1930 and 1960. The centerpiece of the Property is the Abbey Monastery, which was dedicated in 1926 and has maintained its original architecture. The northern half of the Property contains approximately 132 acres of farmland leased by two individuals and three single family residences, which have been boarded up. In addition to the buildings mentioned above, the southern half of the Property includes 6.26 acres of vineyards.
