Additional Property Attributes

The property consists of four lots, Lots 8, 9, 11, and 12, located on two separate parcels of land located just west of North Joslyn Avenue. The southern parcel is developed with a single, wood framed structure totaling approximately 1,248 square feet along with four large above ground storage tanks (ASTs). Additionally, there is a small wooden structure located adjacent to the tanks. The northern parcel contains no structures except for five large ASTs and associated piping and dispensers. The property was developed as a bulk fueling station in the 1960s. During the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), areas of stained soils, noting releases of petroleum products from the storage tanks, piping, and dispensers, was observed. The City of Gould is currently seeking funding to remove the ASTs and determine the extent of contamination, if any, so they can develop the property as a park.
