Additional Property Attributes

The Property is a 3.19-acre parcel identified as Lincoln County tax lot 11S11W17A 00400-00 and is owned and operated by the Port of Newport. The three buildings within the project area are single-story and include Building 1 (southwest) and Building 2 (northwest) which were both constructed in 1978 and Building 3 (northeast) constructed in 1982. These structures total an estimated 6,567 square feet (SF) according to a Property appraisal from 1996. The appraised interior dimensions for each building: 2,882 SF for Building 1; 1,974 SF for Building 2; and, 1,710 SF for Building 3. Historically the Port has leased the buildings to tenants. The Property and structures were recently leased to Yaquina Bay Fruit Producers for fruit processing and packaging. Currently the project area buildings are between long-term lease agreements and are being used by Port staff as offices and as storage space for construction contractors. The office within Building 1 was occupied by Anderson Construction at the time of this RBM survey.
