Additional Property Attributes

The Property was developed with stores and a residence from at least 1893 until 1922. A 10-gallon gasoline tank was identified on the east portion of the Property in 1909. By 1928, a gasoline filling station with a gasoline tank was located on the southeast portion of the Property and expanded onto the south portion of the Property by 1939. The filling station appeared to remain at the Property until at least 1972. During this time, stores occupied the northeast portion of the Property. By 1987, the footprint of the buildings on the Property appeared to change. The building on the west parcel was used as retail and office space. The building on the east parcel was an apartment. At the time of the reconnaissance, the Property consisted of two parcels totaling approximately 0.3 acres of land. The west parcel was developed with a two-story, vacant building. The east parcel was developed with a two-story apartment building. The area surrounding the buildings consisted of asphalt parking areas and a gravel-covered alley. Surrounding areas were developed with hotels, residences and commercial developments from at least 1893 through at least 1955. An automotive garage with a gasoline tank was present north of the Property from 1922 through at least 1951. A gasoline filling station was also present northeast of the Property between at least 1939 through 1993. The surrounding areas have remained commercial developments at the time of the reconnaissance.
