Additional Property Attributes

The 1.92 acre Site consists of two (2) contiguous parcels of land identified by the Fulton County tax assessor as parcels 134.18-19-1 and 134.18-19-2. The Site is improved by two (2) structures, totaling 24,005 gross square feet, which were constructed in 1944 and 1996. Both buildings are one-story on a concrete slab. The Site buildings are used for the storage and maintenance of city vehicles by the Department of Public Works. The Site is also used for the collection of city waste, with dumpsters for electronics, tires, and general refuse. A pile of appliances was observed to the east of the Site building. In addition, cans of paints were observed behind the general refuse dumpster at the Site. The remainder of the Site consists of paved parking areas. The Site has been operated as a vehicle maintenance garage since the 1950s. According to historical reports, the Site was utilized from at least 1887 until at least 1927 as a tannery. Previous occupants included: Booth & Co. and Surpass Leather. No information on historical materials usage and waste generation were available for HRP's review.
