Additional Property Attributes

The Property was developed sometime prior to 1910 with four residential houses and two storage sheds. By 1926, a fifth residential house and an additional storage shed was constructed on the Property. In 1948 the residential house on 1717 E. Michigan Avenue was razed and the existing commercial building was constructed. The remaining houses were razed by 1989, at which time the existing 1703 E. Michigan Avenue building was constructed. Historical Property uses included residential, doctor offices, drug store, flurry shop, barber, commercial office space, used car sales, and automobile repair. The 1717 E. Michigan Avenue building is currently vacant, and the 1703 E. Michigan Avenue building is currently used as commercial office space. The Property is intended for future commercial redevelopment.
