Property Highlights

The majority of the property is currently developed as a park with multiple sports fields, associated driveways and parking lots, concession stand and restroom structures, and a large warehouse used for facility maintenance and storage. Audubon Arkansas requested a TBA from the Arkansas Brownfield Program in 2019. Evidence from the Phase I indicates that the site was used as a landfill in the 1970s and '80s and that the waste is still in place at the site. No information regarding whether or not the site accepted industrial waste was available. Additional funding is needed to conduct a Phase II ESA to determine types of waste that may be on the property.
