Additional Property Attributes

According to historic maps of the site, the subject properties were previously developed with single-family, semi-detached homes, which were demolished at some unknown time, at least one pair between the 1940s and 1960s. The Property was occupied by the Keystone Index Card Company between approximately 1925 and 1967, which operated as an industrial printer, and a manufacturer of office supplies and furniture. A 1950 permit issued for 213 N. 33rd Street noted the presence of a 15,000-gallon wooden tank with unknown contents related to clothing manufacturing. A garage and warehouse building with an elevator occupied the northern portion of the Property between approximately 1951 and 1975. In the mid-20th century, the site immediately north of the subject properties was used as the American Oncologic Hospital. The site is currently leased for community garden.
