A contractor field crew mobilized to the site to consolidate universal and hazardous wastes such as paints, paint related wastes, aerosols, corrosive liquids, fluorescent lamps and bulbs, oils and greases, and used electronics. Consolidated container shipments of these material were transported off-site to designated receiving facilities.
A specialized asbestos abatement contractor containerized 5 cubic yards of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) and transported them off-site.
In total, the project cleaned up 5 cubic yards of asbestos, 3 cubic yard boxes of used paints, 50 pounds of aerosol cans, 120 gallons of corrosive liquids, approximately 600 pounds of fluorescent lamps and bulbs, 20 gallons of grease, 300 pounds of used acid batteries, 140 gallons of used oil, numerous pallets of used electronic equipment.
