Based on a Phase I ESA completed in October 2020, RECs were identified related to soil and groundwater impacts previously discovered within the subject site boundaries; which are likely attributable to the site's former land use as a dump. Impacts include wide-spread arsenic in soil and groundwater, as well as PCBs in soils, PAHs and lead.
An ABCA prepared in November 2020 concluded that the best alternative for redevelopment was a combination of excavation and engineering controls.
