Additional Property Attributes

The property is located within the Former Kirsch Plant #2 as an industrial condominium; the property also includes a specified common area. The condominium is located in the southeast corner of the plant. The condominium was an addition to the initial plant and was constructed between 1960 and 1967. The Former Kirsch Plant #2 was owned and operated by the Kirsch Company, Inc., a family owned business that specialized in the manufacturing of drapery hardware and window coverings from 1956 to 1980. The industrial condominium, Unit #4 was utilized strictly for warehousing, shipping and receiving during operations. The property was acquired by Cooper Industries in 1980, after Kirsch Company, Inc. ceased operations at the site. Newell Rubbermaid purchased the plant from Cooper Industries in 1997. Sturgis Building, LLC acquired the property in April 2004; followed by Iceberg Enterprises, LLC. Currently, the subject property is being used for warehousing product. The future uses of the property are similar to previous uses (warehousing and storage of product).
