Additional Property Attributes

Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the subject property was developed with a commercial building and apartment building with two attached garages from at least 1938 through approximately 1999 when the buildings were demolished. Historical City Directories indicate the subject property was potentially occupied by multiple variety stores (Gamot's Variety Store and Jackson Variety Store) from the mid-1960s through the early to mid- 1980s. The subject property was listed as vacant in 1989 and the buildings were later demolished in 1999. The property has been vacant land from approximately 1999 through the current day. No listings for the current or historical addresses of the subject property were identified prior to 1964, therefore, former tenants of the subject property prior to 1964 are unknown. However, historical Sanborn maps document the former buildings operated as a store and an apartment building; therefore, former tenants were likely residential and general retail tenants.
